A Khatme Quran and Doa Mahfil was held in Nandigram, Bogra, at the initiative of the Upazila Krishak Dal to pray for the complete physical recovery of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.
After the Zuhr prayers, a Quran and prayer meeting was held at the Amra Gohail Darul Uloom Hafezia Madrasa in Thalta Majhagram Union of Nandigram Upazila. Present at that time were; Nandigram Upazila Krishak Dal President Iskender Mirza Mithu, Upazila Krishak Dal General Secretary Abdul Hannan, Senior Vice President Masud Rana Mukul, Organizing Secretary Abdul Ahad Rajib and Krishak Dal leaders and activists from various unions Abdul Salam, Tipu Sultan, Omar Faruk, Mostafa Ali, Joynal Abed Muntu, Abdul Razzak, Roni, Imran Ali, Enamul, Golam Murtaza Toukin, Mamun Hossain and others were present. Former Aksyak of Hatkorai Degree College and President of Amra Gohail Darul Ulum Hafezia Madrasa in Atragram Zahidur Rahman, former demonstrator of Hatkorai Degree College Atiqur Rahman Angur, Headmaster of Bongram Government Primary School Hafizur Rahman, General Secretary of Amra Gohail Darul Ulum Hafezia Madrasa Azhar Ali, Mizanur Rahman and others from the area were also present. The prayer was led by the teacher and Muhatamim Hafez Maulana Md. Monirul Islam of Amra Gohail Darul Uloom Hafezia Madrasa in Nandigram Thalta Majhagram Union.
